He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Nye and Geraldine Nye; his wife Sherri; and his sister Pam Nye-Steen. He is survived by: his children, Mason Nye (Monica) of Lodi and Beth Nye (Bill) of Trumansburg; his stepchildren, Mike McLaughlin II of Willard, Crystal McLaughlin of Interlaken, Tim Jones (Rachel) of Romulus and Dawn Yaple of Ovid; his grandchildren, Cata, Alera, Alannah, Dominic, Amya, Trey and Nevaya; and his siblings, Carl Nye and Nancy Pinette.
