Ellison of Lockwood, New York, born in Barton, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 23, 2024 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Shipman and Lillian Barden Shipman; her husband James L. Ellison; her brothers, Kenneth and Clyde Shipman; her sons-in-law, Ray Manzer and Dick Cary; and her grandsons, Art Bidlack II and Dennis Ellison.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Benson (Phil), Harriet Cary of Lockwood, Jim Ellison (Nellie), Ellen Bidlack-Manzer of Barton, Marion Stafford (Herb), Eric Ellison of Lockwood, Gary Ellison (Tracy), Carolyn Hall (Palmer) and Dorothy Stevens (Lee) of Auburn; her sister Grace Meisner of Waverly; and her grandchildren, Mark Benson, Wayland Alexander, Heather Cary, James Ellison, Jannell Ellison, Angel Fairbanks, Shannon Pike, Matt Ellison, Chad Porter, Megan Hall and Adam Murphy. She is also survived by several step grandchildren; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
