It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Denise A. Bergman of Lockwood, New York, born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Bruce E. McNamara and Eugenia McNamara; her husband James G. Bergman; and her sisters, Karen Gergel and Colleen Wrightson.

She is survived by : her close friend Kenneth Shipman of Lockwood; her children, Clint J. Bergman, Jeffrey J. Bergman and Melissa J. Bergman of Lockwood; her brothers, Daniel McNamara of Athens and Patrick McNamara (Michelle) of Athens; her grandchildren, Axel, Christopher, Carly and Nathan; and her stepsons, Jason Shipman (Jessica) of Springfield, PA and Andy Shipman. She is also survived by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Barton Center Cemetery (1531 Ellis Creek Rd, Waverly, NY 14892).
