He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Murphy and Mary Askey; his brother Tyler Murphy; his grandparents, Burrel and Arlene Murphy; and his uncles, Kevin Murphy and Randy Murphy.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kathryn Richards, Chris Murphy (Jocelyn), Tricia Goodrich (Ian) and Steven Murphy; his aunts, Kathy Murphy and Judy Murphy; his uncle Anthony Murphy (Lisa); his grandmother Sharon Askey; his uncles, Brian Askey and Mike Askey; and his aunt Tina Bainey.
