With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ruth A. Watier (Lockport, New York), whose life came to an end on December 13, 2024 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Markel and Margaret Markel (Snowden); and her brothers, Robert Markel and David Markel. She is survived by: her son Kevin Watier (Lynn); her grandchildren, Meghan Toenniessen (Josh), Ryan Gilbert (Aileen) and Brenna Laspada (late Josh); her great grandchildren, Noah, Hadley, Olive and Madison; her brothers, John Markel (Betty), Steve Markel (late Patricia) and Thomas Markel (Kathy); her sisters-in-law, Angela Markel and Mary Markel; and her half-sister Barbara Mazzerese (Richard).
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Methodist Church (75 East Ave, Lockport, NY 14094).
