She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Mawhiney; and her siblings, Arlene Stieg (Harold), Geraldine Bumpers, Jane Stauder, Marion Ames, Donald Stauder, Raymond Stauder (Ruth) and Walter Stauder (Joan).
She is survived by: her parents, Walter Stauder and Margaret Stauder (Yoder); her children, Scott D. Mawhiney and Sue A. Mawhiney; her grandson Patrick Barnwell; and her sister Mary Ellen Parker (William). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association, would be appreciated by the family.
