It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Hager (Lockport, New York), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though John has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hager and Rita Hager (Bonn); his wife Betty Hager (Ventura); and his siblings, Robert Hager and Mary Ellen Goodell (late Joseph).
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Dubiel (Paul), Michael Hager and Edward Hager (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Collin, Olivia and Jillian; and his sister-in-law Gail Hager.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc. (242 Genesee St, Lockport, NY 14094). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home (242 Genesee St, Lockport, NY 14094).
