He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles W. Phillips and Beverly Phillips (Smith); his wife Cindy Muir; his sons, Charles and Noah Phillips (Heather); his grandchildren, Eian, Owen and Juniper Phillips; his siblings, Terri Smyers (Jerry), Leslie Riddle (John), Jeff Phillips (Pam), Dana Phillips (Cheryl) and Brian Phillips; and his nieces and nephews, Carey Smyers, Matthew, Lyndsey, Melissa Devine, Jerad Riddle, Lindsay, Brandon, Shane, Calin, Ryan, Carly and Aaliyah Phillips.
