It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Vassak Jr. of Livingstonville, New York, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lulu Vassak, (Ingersoll) and John J. Vassak, Sr. (John); his wife Donna Vassak (Sprague) of Livingstonville; his daughters, Kelly Nelson of Dover Plains, Bonnie Vassak of Hartwick and Debbie Wheeler (Tom) of Wingdale; and his stepchildren, Melissa Heller of Livingstonville, Bobby Heller of Wingdale and Billy Heller of Wingdale. He was also cherished by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
