He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Schmidt and Helen Schmidt (Smith); and his brother Theodore Schmidt (Linda). He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Midge" Schmidt (Rider Law); his brothers, Thomas and Dennis Schmidt; and his children, Robert Law (Gina), Patty Middleton (Frank), Colleen Perdue (Dave), Tracy Perdue (Kevin), Yvonne Schmidt Antonello and James Schmidt. He is also survived by Many sisters and brother's in-law, nieces, nephews.
