He is survived by: his parent Clara Fitting (Kohlmeier); his wife Peggy Ann Fitting (Schmeichel); his children, Christopher Peter Fitting, Jr., Clara, Hilda, Jahns of Livingston and Brenda Fitting of Albany; his sister Marie Shook of Ghent; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Robert and Alesha Marie Fitting; and his great grandchildren, Dale Hill, Billy Brown, Sydney Hill and Logan Hill.
