He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Shine and Irene Shine (Mooney); and his brother William Shine. He is survived by: his wife Patrice C. Shine of Liverpool, NY; his children, Cindy Kritch (Kevin) of Loudon, TN, Michael Shine and Christy Knaul (Marty) of Baldwinsville, NY; the mother of his children Jane Shine Summers; his stepsons, Michael Kane of Spring Hill, FL and Stephen Kane (Linda) of Everywhere, USA; his grandchildren, Korbin Kritch (Kylie), Kailey Kritch, Riley Shine (Abbie), Cooper Shine, Sawyer Shine, Erin Knaul, Ryan Knaul, Kerry Knaul, Giovanni Kane and Michael Kane, Jr.; his great grandchild Callan Kritch; and his pets, Ollie and Indee.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (21 Cherry Tree Cir, Liverpool, NY 13090).
