He was predeceased by: his wife Patti Goodman-Parton; his son Allan J. Parton; his parents, Claude "Red" and Carol Parton; and his brother Richard Parton.
He is survived by: his children, Miranda Butler (Will), Sarah Parton (Chris Yager), Mel Vinette (Joe) and Michael Parton (Nicole Orton); his siblings, Carol DeRegis (Richard), Donald Parton (Robyn), Judy Stern (Martin), Rex Parton, Jeanette Callaghan (Thomas), Kenneth Parton (Angela) and Jerry Parton (Kelley); his sister-in-law Jacquie Parton; and his grandchildren, Cole, Ethan, Alana and Evelyn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
