He was predeceased by: his daughter Sohyla Khamechi Ziaie. He is survived by: his wife Monir Ziaei; his daughters, Parvaneh (Ali), Parvin (Daryoush), Sima (Mohammad) and Parisa (Kourosh); his son-in-law Shahram Ziaie; and his grandchildren, Pardis (Tandis Abdollahi), Payam (Pegah Riahi), Bijan (Kayvon Ziaie), Kimia Chimehrad and Saanya (Neela Rahimkhani). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
