With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy W. Helmetag of Liverpool, New York, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Helmetag and Ann Helmetag (Wach); and his wife Florence Catherine Helmetag (Mach). He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Helmetag (June) of Camden, DE and Terry Helmetag (Carrie) of Thompson, CT; his grandchildren, Brian Helmetag, Claudia Wan (Krishna Vijayendran), Audrey and Erika Helmetag; his great grandchild Liam; and his siblings, Allan Helmetag (Donna), Sandy Terschl (Rudy) and Karen Hund. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
