Though Rosalind has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Sommer and Irene Sommer; and her husband Edward F. Otis. She is survived by: her children, Maureen Nieves (Steven) of New Jersey, Madeline Shanahan (Daniel) of Camillus, Michael Otis (Deardria) of North Carolina, Christopher Otis of Liverpool, Gregory Otis (Shaun McGovern) of Portugal and Thomas Otis (Barbara Jones) of Manlius. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Maurer Funeral Home (3541 NY-31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Christ the King Roman Catholic Church (21 Cherry Tree Cir, Liverpool, NY 13090).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice Foundation of Central New York, 990 Seventh North St. Liverpool, NY 13088 or Christ the King Church, 21 Cherry Tree Circle Liverpool, NY 13090.

I've been gone fir many years and moved around a lot but I have one brother still in the area and he said your mom was the last in our neighborhood Hope you all are doing well Maureen My siblings snd I live in 5 different states I will always miss my mom!!
