He was predeceased by: his father John Foley; his son Brian Joseph Foley; his brothers, John and George Foley; and his sisters-in-law, Ann Sedor and Ruth Foley.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Foley (Deirdre O'Hara) of Camillus, Michael Foley (Deborah) of Liverpool, Steven Foley (Sarah) of Camillus and Sara Foley LaValle of Camillus; his grandchildren, Brian (Laela Touvell), Joseph LaValle, Joshua, Lauren, Alexandra, Connor Foley, Madison, Ryan Payne, Ashley and Justin Williams; his cousins, John and James McMahon (Rosalie); his nieces, Ann-Marie Sedor (Andrew Lipchak), Carolyn Kenyon (Michael) and Mary Carlisle (Ryan); his nephew Kevin Foley; and his brother-in-law Robert Sedor.
