Robert M. Henning Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2024, at the age of 85, Robert M. Henning Sr. of Liverpool, New York, born in Syracuse, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert M. Henning Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Henning (Wojick) and Frederick Henning; his son John Michael Henning; and his brother Frederick Henning. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg" Henning (Gaus); his children, Eleanor Rumpel (Robert Bordeaux) of New Bern, NC and Robert M. Henning, Jr. (Kelly) of Liverpool, NY; his brother Albert Henning (Susanne) of LaFayette, NY; and his grandchildren, Garret Smorol (Caroline), Krista Henning, Erik Henning (Julie), Kendal, Gracie, Cole Henning and Jacob Henning. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. (300 2nd St, Liverpool, NY 13088). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at the Liverpool Village Cemetery (225 6th St, Syracuse, NY 13209).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory may be made to St. Joseph's Health Hospital's affiliate at Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, P.O. Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240.
