It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Rachel (Barnaba) Turo of Liverpool, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Barnaba (Schena) and Gene Barnaba; her husband Raymond Turo; and her brother Daniel Barnaba (Eleanor). She is survived by: her children, William Turo, Linda Szmalc (Frank) and Karen Turo (Daryoosh); her grandsons, Nathan and Benjamin Szmalc; her brother Paul Barnaba (Nita); and her sister-in-law Eleanor Bondur. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
