He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shipman and Agnes Coon (Shipman); and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his significant other Roberta Kinsella; his daughters, Christine Shipman and Ann Marie Chapnik; and his siblings, Roy "Buddy", John Shipman, Nancy Usakewicsz (Jeffrey), Colleen Cancel (Eddie), Jackie Hylen, Patricia Chamberlain (Robert) and Judy-Ann Shipman. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
