He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl DeLing and May DeLing; and his son Richard D. "Dickie" DeLing. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice DeLing (O'Donnell); his son Rob DeLing; his daughter-in-law Jessica; and his grandchildren, Christopher DeLing and Clare DeLing. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
