He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Dixon and Lillian Dixon; his wife Barbara; his daughter Kathleen; and his siblings, William and Grace.
He is survived by: his sons, Patrick, Michael (Karen), Daniel (Judi), John and Joseph (Karrie); his close friend Jean Hook; his siblings, Robert (Nancy), Mary Dixon and Eleanor Burns (Harry); and also Grant Spurrell. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
