He was predeceased by: his sister Fatouma. He is survived by: his children, Mecki Ghabarou (Katelynn), Monya Ghabarou, Miriam Ghabarou and Malik Ghabarou; his grandchildren, Mason Ghabarou, Milania Ghabarou and Carson Leonardo; his son Dean Ghabarou of Philadelphia; and his siblings, Fatma, Zahra, Mekki, Mohsen and Monya. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
