He was predeceased by: his siblings, Everett Donnelly, Russell, Harold Forget, Marion and Susan Forget.
He is survived by: his wife June Forget; his children, Darlyn Frass of Liverpool, NY and Craig Forgette of Buffalo, NY; and his sisters, Grace, Anne, Elaine, Pauline and Beverly of Montreal, QC. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and dozens of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Melvin's memory can be made to the Clay Historical Association and sent to 4939 Route 31, Clay, New York 13041.
