She was predeceased by: her father Robert Zaleppa; her former husband James D. Heldmann; and her father-in-law Nick Orso. She is survived by: her mother Elizabeth Zaleppa of Westvale; her husband Michael Orso; her daughters, Lisa Heldmann Todd of California and Colonna Orso of Manlius; her granddaughter Kendall Todd of California; her siblings, Linda Ioli of California, Lois Harmatuk (Richard) of LaFayette, Lorraine Kordek (Timothy) of Baldwinsville, Larry Zaleppa (Vicky) of Onondaga Hill and Lee Zaleppa of Westvale; her mother-in-law Elvira Orso; and her sisters, Amanda and Dr. Lauren Panabianco. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
