He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Moyer Hurst; and his son Kenneth J. D. Hurst. He is survived by: his children, Kerry Hurst of Liverpool, NY, Kristopher Hurst (Carolina) of Napa, CA, Sally Senecal of Constantia, NY and Susan Blanding of Fulton, NY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
