It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Judy Ann (Hughes) Tassone of Liverpool, New York, who passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Jane Hughes (Britschge); her husband Bill Tassone; her son Eric Brazell; and the parent of her child Francis. She is survived by: her son Ben Brazell (Melissa); her grandchildren, Ryan, Sam and Luke; her son Chris Brazell (Karyn); her grandchildren, Braeden, Jack, Timothy, Michael and Grant; and her siblings, Jean Kupinski (John), Mary Gilligan, Betsy Hughes, Kathy Smith (Dave), Bill (Donna), John (Maria) and Ed (Melissa). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (3494 NY-31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027). A procession will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (800 Grant Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13203).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Judy's memory.
