He was predeceased by: his wife Judy; and his stepdaughter Debra Ann Washburn. He is survived by: his children, Linda Kotowski (Ronald) of Liverpool, Karen Jones (William) of Cicero, Joseph Jr. (Gail) of Clay, Martin (Erin) of North Syracuse, James (Kristine Tobin) of Mattydale, George (Aracely) of Ocala and Carmen (Rebecca) of Liverpool; his stepson David Washburn of Georgia; and his sisters, Mary Bailey of Syracuse and Angie Lundy (John) of East Syracuse. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
