He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Litteer and Ruth Litteer (Andrews); and his sisters, Thelma Squires, Mary Jane Owen and Jeanne Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Joan D. Litteer; his children, Linda Litteer-Ormond (William) of Durham, NC, John S. Litteer (Julie) of Pennellville, NY, Barbara Schikora (Paul), Andrew A. Litteer (Diane) of Clay, NY and Rebecca Mounce (Marty) of Baldwinsville, NY.; his grandchildren, Jamie (Shawn), Kelly (Eric), Lindsey (Michael), Paige, Kari (Lyra), Erin (Dan), Sarah, Andrew and Zachary; and his great grandchildren, Cecily, Bennett, Vivienne, Penelope, Corinne, Jonah and Beckett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
