He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Verrette and Mary Verrette (Lawley); his son James Verrette; his stepdaughter Laura Jones; and his sister Anne McKenney.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Kitty" Lutz Verrette (Phillips); and his stepchildren, Diane Morrison, Donna Cole (Gary), Amy Hodgson (Michael), Philip Lutz (Eileen), Paul Lutz and Connie Farden (Jack). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
