He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Penny (Alexander) and Anna Penny; and his brothers, Bruce and Stewart Penny. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Penny; his sons, John M. Penny (Shawn) of Greer, SC and Joseph A. Penny (Dara) of Liverpool; his grandchildren, Collin, Lily, Zoey Penny and Kayla Gardner; and his sister-in-law Joyce Penny.
