We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2024, at the age of 90, Janet M. Sugrue of Liverpool, New York, born in Syracuse, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack; her son Thomas; her daughter-in-law Nancy; and her sister Diana Meyers. She is survived by: her children, Gary Sugrue (Cynthia), John Sugrue Jr. (Dawn), Donald Sugrue, Michael Sugrue (Sandy) of Seminole Florida, Doreen Russo (Tony) and Lesley Sugrue; her grandchildren, John, Dennis, Brian, Tia, Terry of Nick, TJ, Jason, Christopher, Marc, Matthew Sugrue, Laurie Predmore-Ashworth, Stacy Dugan, Jennifer Quinn, Heather Caceres and Michael Russo; and also Candie Sugrue. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. (300 2nd St, Liverpool, NY 13088). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Epiphany Church (1001 Tulip St, Liverpool, NY 13088).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Liverpool Fire Department, 1110 Oswego St., Liverpool NY 13088.
