We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2023, at the age of 83, James E. Cain of Liverpool, New York, born in Mankato, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond J. Cain and Ida Cain (Rose); his wife Susan J. Cain (Martin); and his siblings, Richard Cain and Kathleen Cain.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Cain (Wendy), Christina Rodriguez (Fidel), Mary Mercedes (Julio), Theresa Schardt (James), Elizabeth Avery (Craig), Edward LaChanse, Jr. (Rebecca) and Laurie LaChanse (Robert Cooney); and his grandchildren, Gabriella, Kristopher, Selena, Jailee, Clayton, Julia, Amanda, Vivian, Carleigh, Dylan and Matthew.
