James A. Switzer Jr. Obituary
In loving memory of James A. Switzer Jr. of Liverpool, New York, born in Fair Haven, New York, who departed this world on March 19, 2025 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Switzer, and Anna Switzer, Sr. (Hauf); and his sister Anne Loudin. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline M. Dalton-Switzer of Liverpool, NY; his sons, Brandon Switzer (Kelley) of Rochester, NY and Ryan Switzer of Lakewood, CO; his grandchildren, Aiden, Melina and Rowan; and his siblings, Henry Switzer of South Dakota, Mary Hall, Barbara Scutt, Ruth Albright (Merlin), Loretta Tucker (Bobby) and Teresa Polakowski (Thomas). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maurer Funeral Home (3541 NY-31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027). A prayer was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pope John Xxiii Roman Catholic Church (8290 Soule Rd, Liverpool, NY 13090).
