He is survived by: his children, Hector J. Vergara, Jr. (Bobbi), Anthony Vergara (Laurie), Nereida Sanchez (Nelson), Frank Diaz (Ines), Jerry Trujillo and Rodney Trujillo (Aida); his brothers, Raul Vergara and Flor Jose Rodriguez; and his adoptive mother Andrea Velasquez. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
