It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey L. Calkins Jr. of Liverpool, New York, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Harvey's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Harvey has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey L. Calkins, and Carleen Calkins, Sr. (Moore). He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Calkins of Liverpool, NY; his sons, Patrick Calkins of Mexico, NY, Carson Calkins of Liverpool, NY and Connor Calkins of Liverpool, NY; his grandson Sloane; and his sisters, Nancy Windhausen of Syracuse, NY and Colleen Calkins of Baldwinsville, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. (300 2nd St, Liverpool, NY 13088). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
