He was predeceased by: his parents, Stavros Ioannidis and Melpomeni Ioannidis (Mazaris); and his brother Evangelos Ioannidis. He is survived by: his wife Anastasia Ioannidis (Pappas); his sons, Nik Ioannidis (Dina) and John Ioannidis (Anna); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Eleni, John Paul, Stavros, Dimitri, Angelos and Stefano; and his siblings, Zoe Algefski (Drage), Elefteria Shiomos and Alexandros Ioannidis. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
