He was predeceased by: his parents, Erasmo Gonzalez and Minnie Gonzalez (Kaler); his wife Carmella "Amy" Gonzalez (Cardone); and his siblings, Arthur Gonzalez and Violet Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald J. Gonzalez (Fran) of Naples, FL, Gayle Checksfield (George) of Liverpool, Karen Case (Tom) of Liverpool, Michelle Russell of Liverpool, Melissa Deshaies (Jeff) of Chittenango and Franklin Gonzalez II (Ronda) of South Dakota. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
