We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2021, at the age of 89, Dixon Martin of Liverpool, New York, born in Lonaconing, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dixon Martin and Ruth Martin; his former wife Margaret Simmons Martin; and his sister Anna Martin Tranum. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Nappa Martin; his daughter Peggy Kranze (Jeff); his stepchildren, Ginny Holmes (Ron), Bruce LaVere, Debbie Schwan (Hank), Cindy Bitter (Tom) and Jon Nappa (Julianne); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Walski (Jon), Paul Kranze (Katy), Gina Cook (Tom), Debbie VanNorstrand (Wayne), Greg Holmes (Lisa), Jim Holmes, Nikki Pollock (Rod), Marta LaVere (Luis), Sonia LaVere (Juan), Bruce LaVere (Gina), David LaVere (Marta), Rebekah Nappa, Jacob Nappa, John Nappa and Luke Nappa. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Those attending are strongly encouraged to wear masks.
