He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth. He is survived by: his children, Diana Basham (David), Barbara Dewey, Kelly Cahl (Marc), John Messenger (Stacie), Scott Messenger (Pam) and Matt Messenger (Kathryn); and his brother Dennis Dewey (Jacquelyn). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
