He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sparks and Anna Sparks (Dougherty); and his sister Ellen Page (George). He is survived by: his wife Rosanne (Pasquale); his sons, Dennis (Julia) and Robert (Katie); his grandsons, Milo and Felix; his adoptive son Patrick (Lessa); and his siblings, Michael, Daniel (Frances), Timothy (Patricia), Nedd Sparks, Elizabeth Ernyey (Ron) and Kathleen Fleming. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Palliative-Comfort Care team at St. Joseph's Hospital, 301 Prospect Ave, Syracuse.
