For Carolyn Ruth Derby is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Derby and Emily Wallace Derby; her daughter Mariel; her siblings, Carlton Derby, Herbert Derby, Ralph Derby and Brenda Green; and her close friend Tolbert.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Hudson (Damion), Nathaniel Wallace (Wilma Nixon) and Chris Jones (Anita); and her brother Franklin Derby. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Farone & Son Inc. Funeral Home (4899 W Taft Rd, Liverpool, NY 13088). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
