It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmelo R. Herrera Rivera of Liverpool, New York, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Carmelo leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Carmelo may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his children, Mildred Herrera of Danbury, CT, Lizmary Herrera of Yonkers, NY, Carlos Herrera and Hector Herrera (Jimaris) of Liverpool; and his brothers, Hector Herrera and Pablo Herrera (Ani) of Puerto Rico. He is also survived by several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. (300 2nd St, Liverpool, NY 13088). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
