He was predeceased by: his mother Albana Marion Fontana; and his siblings, Carole Krause, Constance Thompson (Connie), Sheila Mcintyre and Ronald Gary Fontana.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Katherine Neville (Kat); his daughter Samantha L. Fontane (Mario Baric); and his brothers, James R. Fontana (Cheryl) and Richard Fontana (Dee). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, his partner's children and grandchildren and many friends.
