It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice M. Hettler of Liverpool, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Barthel and Viola Barthel; her husband Nelson Hettler; her siblings, Doris Spiegel, Joan Phelan and Frank Barthel, Jr.; and her son-in-law Frederick Noetscher.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Noetscher of Fayetteville, James Hettler (Mary) of Pennellville, Mark Hettler (Roxanne) of Liverpool, Mary Young (Michael) of Wellesley, MA and Thomas Hettler (Michele) of Baldwinsville; her grandchildren, Gregory, Emily, Christopher, Timothy, Daniel, Philip, Eric, Elizabeth, Carolyn, Ethan and Ava; and her great grandchildren, Jennifer, Benjamin, Warren, Gwendolyn, Naomi, Jade, Isaiah and Colton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bea's memory may be made to the Assumption Church Bell Tower project or the Christian Brothers Academy Annual Fund.
