He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne; and his sisters, Ginny Horn and Mary Wilbur. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Wilhelm, Susanne Pulvere (Paul), Michael Utano (Lori) and Patrick Utano (Deborah); and his sisters, Rose Herrmann and Dee Mufale. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren, his thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home, Inc. (1604 Grant Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13208). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the Pine Plains Cemetery (8686 Henry Clay Blvd, Clay, NY 13041).
