She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth C. Spangenburgh and Gladys Spangenburgh (Baker); her husband Jerome H. Smith; and her siblings, Kenneth Spangenburgh, Mary Anne Gansert and Paul Spangenburgh.
She is survived by: her children, Roxanne Sakowski (Tom) of Spring Hill, FL, Diane Carrick (Douglas) of Cicero, NY and Ken Smith (MaryJo) of St. Cloud, FL; her grandchildren, Holly (Aaron), Amanda (James), Kristie (Nate), Shane (Amanda) and Katie (Michael); and her siblings-in-law, Clara Cooper, Phyllis Smith and Gerald Lavy. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
