He was predeceased by: his parent Willis Cross; his son David Cross; his siblings, Frank Cross, Norman Cross, Robert Cross, James Cross, Gordon Cross and Doris Phillips; and his granddaughter Kristin.
He is survived by: his parent Arminda Cross (Burdick); his spouse Sue Bowen; his children, John W. Cross of Little Valley, Deborah McMillen (Vern) of Randolph and Lori Antholzner (Rick) of Little Valley; his daughter-in-law Karin Cross; his sisters, Helen Gifford of Randolph, Laura Monsour of Little Valley and Shirley Smith of Ellington; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Wilson (Bryan), Alysia Durow (Jeff), Emily Salim, Courtney Antholzner, Alison Antholzner, Mason Cross, Deven Cross, Lydia Cross, Mitchell Cross and Andrew Cross; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Aiden and Carter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cattaraugus Ambulance Service, the Little Valley Ambulance and Volunteer Fire Department or the Cattaraugus Free Library.
