He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Askey and Marjorie Askey (Webster); his sisters, Ann Gebauer and Carol Seiwert; and his sisters-in-law, Jennifer Bumpus and Kimberly Robey.
He is survived by: his sons, Derrick James Askey (Brieanne) of Olean, NY and Nicholas Charles Askey (Cindy) of Little Valley, NY; his grandchildren, James Brian, Declan Joshua, Isabelle Ann and Evelyn Jolene Askey; and his nephew Duncan Jonathan Whipple.
