He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Emerson and Vida Emerson (Baker-Williams); his son Derek "Jordy" Emerson; and his brothers, Edwin "Bucky" Emerson and Robert Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Allie Schreiner of Little Valley; his children, Craig Emerson (Tammy) of Hampton, VA and Lori Emerson of Salamanca; his sisters, Betty Moore of Great Valley and Rosie Harrington (Frank Ditcher) of Great Valley; his grandchildren, Kellie McKee (Dylan Hopkins), Katie McKee (Carlos Caiza) and Joey Emerson; and his great grandchild Chelsea Ann McKee-Caiza.
Memorials may be made to the Valley View Baptist Church.
